I joined what was then Slough Writers' Group in 1985 as I wanted to have some opinions of what I wrote from other writers. They were not encouraging.

Having spent all my working life in the NHS when I retired I embarked upon an OU Social Psychology degree.I started writing stories when my children were young and continued for the grandchildren. I am currently writing thumbnail biographies of family members for the Family Archives.

From wife to mother, grandmother and recently great grandmother, I savour all my worldly experiences to write about.

I have finished a romantic novel which is currently doing the rounds of publishers.

A couple of stories in Chillout Magazine. My poem in a competition for The Royal Berkshire was highly commended. This related to Waiting Room blues. I was 3rd in the Fenner Brockway competition in Slough. Forward Press accepted my poem Requiem for their 2008 Anthology for South East England. Minor successes in In House competitions.A company offered to make a video of my story Goblin Magic. I received several drawings but the company went out of business before the video was made.
